Ms. Sally Choy has over 13 years of professional liability claims experience and brings to the Claims Coordinator role a broad understanding of claims processes and medical-legal issues. She previously held the position of Professional Liability Representative with BETA Healthcare Group, and prior to that, Ms. Choy’s career included positions in customer service, as well as program and project management.

Mr. Mike Reynolds has over 20 years of service-oriented experience, including 10 years of professional liability insurance experience with The Mutual. Mr. Reynold’s career has included managerial experience with a Louisiana-based retail business and supervisory roles with a Texas-based regional airline. Mr. Reynold’s earned his Associates Degree from Los Medanos College.

Ms. Earnesta Lewis has over 20 years of experience in customer service and project management. Her career has included customer relations with AT&T and Bed Bath & Beyond.

Ms. Kristi Kaiser joined the Member Services team with a background in project management and marketing. She brings with her more than 10 years of experience in customer/member relations, database administration and data analytics, as well as a fresh perspective on the medical professional liability insurance industry. Prior to joining The Mutual, Ms. Kaiser studied liberal arts at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, which led to a career in service-oriented positions spanning the nonprofit, sustainability and tourism industries.

Matt Eliaser joined our claims team in July of 2018, after serving for several years at The Mutual’s leading medical malpractice defense firm in Chicago. Matt brings a unique perspective to overseeing medical professional liability claims, given his experience as a trial attorney in the notoriously difficult jurisdiction of Cook County, IL. He also brings a passionate enthusiasm for defense of medical providers, combined with first-hand knowledge of working up and trying cases.

Matt attended the University of Michigan for his undergraduate degree and Loyola University Chicago School of Law for his J.D.

He currently works out of Chicago, serves as Legal Counsel to The Mutual, and in addition, oversees our cases in various jurisdictions all over the U.S.

Heather joined The Mutual’s Patient Safety program in August of 2019 with 15 years of clinical experience as a Physician Assistant. Her experience as an advanced practice clinician brings a focused perspective to our program which aims to simultaneously increase patient safety and reduce provider risk through monitoring claim trends, extrapolating lessons learned, and sharing that knowledge through an education program designed for our insureds.

Ms. Weiss continues to work clinically as a Physician Assistant for Vituity in Emergency Medicine.

Prior to becoming a PA, she earned her Masters of Science in Health Science from the George Washington University School of Medicine, and a BS in Sports Medicine from Pepperdine University.

Ms. Biggs has over 18 years of finance and accounting management experience, including 12 years at The Mutual. Ms. Biggs earned her MBA from The University of San Diego and is a Certified Management Accountant.

Ms. Johnson has over 30 years of project management and administrative experience, including 12 years of executive level experience with The Mutual.

Ms. Johnson’s career has included project management experience with Lucent Technologies and Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory.
